PROLITE – Industrial lights
In the business of safety and security, it is extremely important to have wide knowledge of the possible dangers and threats to the targets concerned. With changing times, the nature of threats have also changed. As an example, with the increased use of plastic currency and electronic banking new threats also emerged such as cybercrime and hacking, identity theft and password theft.

To cite an example again, how many people know that emergency vehicles no longer use red lights but blue ones because several studies show that blue lights are more visible and brighter both at night and during the day?
PROLITE has earned the reputation of catering to varied requirements with multi-purpose emergency light modules. Just as we have a different range for smaller or closed places like residences and offices we have introduced a range of portable lights best suited for industrial areas and godowns etc. where activities are often multiple and shifting and the need for light shifts from area to area-sometimes even in minutes.
Our portable light series allow for mobility and caters to power failure situations as well. In this range, we have lights that automatically get switched on when power fails and provides light for a specified period with the help of rechargeable batteries.
The batteries are designed to automatically slide into trickle charge mode when fully charged and remain prepared for deployment in case of power failure at any time. This range of lights are mostly nonmaintained but for some, like models PEL-120M (refer fig. 1) that come in maintained category as well. In remote areas, compounds or sensitive spaces which require monitoring or patrolling, such as borders or areas infested with dacoits, terrorists, naxals or such undesirable elements, this light becomes the handiest available tool to provide illumination.
This range of portable lights has been developed for use by CISF, CRPF, BSF and other security personnel connected to sensitive areas like mines, railways, police stations, jails etc. Police and paramilitary personnel can use these products to maintain tight vigil. This range of lights is environment friendly and also protected against dust.
Industrial units such as mines that manufacture and/or store highly combustible products need to have emergency lights which work when power supply is not available. Such is the importance of the Exi Fig. 2 light that all the rest play second fiddle-and rightly so. Prolite realizes this and therefore, remains a reliable and effective messenger in situations where the Exit light becomes critical to evacuation and safety in desperate situations.
Prolite manufactures Exit/Emergency Egress Route Lighting Systems for hazardous areas and all other various applications and requirements. It has added on the flameproof Emergency light in its bag for high risk locations like factories or storehouses that stock flammable material. (refer fig. 3)
