SUN Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. was established with five psychiatry products and a two person marketing team. A compact manufacturing facility for tablets and capsules was set up at Vapi, Gujarat. In 1991 Sun pharma established its first research center, creating the base for strong product and process development enabling growth in the subsequent years. Sun pharma in 1994 went public, in an issue that was oversubscribed 55 times. Sun pharma was ranked among the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in India in 1999.Later on in 2000 it became the fifth largest Indian pharmaceutical company.

Company bought a plant in Bryan, Ohio, US and the business of ICN, Hungary from Valeant Pharma. Intellectual property and assets of able Labs were bought from the US District Bank-ruptcy court in New Jersy. It was decided to demerge the research company into a separate entity Sun Pharma Ad-vanced Research Company. This company is listed on the stock exchanges in India, the first pure research company to do so.

Requirements:
SUN Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd of India has approx 27 Access points at Halol Plant in Gu-jarat, where they required a biometric based access control solution to restrict the unauthor-ised access in the Lab. The complete security systems requirement was with Access control system and IP Surveillance camera for securing the area. Their main requirement was access control system integration with IP Surveillance camera. For every access control event they need to record a sort video clip which should be stored in access control software and the video clip should be accessible at the time of audit. All the recorded video clip should be synchronized with access control events and generate a alarm report with link of video clips.

Smart I has deployed the solution through System Integrator Tyco Fire & Security India Pvt. Ltd. Smart I proposed the solutions with our Biometric Access Control System Access Control with Comprehensive Alarm Management Software. System Integrator Tyco proposed them our Access control Solution with DSC IP Camera. We have done API level integration of DSC IP Camera with our Alarm Management Software. The Alarm management Software stores the short video clip for user defined access control events. It generates comprehensive reports of synchronized access event with video clip link, which can be access any particular audit time. Apart from this feature alarm management also various Alerts Popup on graphical sitemap, email, and SMS and Voice notification for config-ured access control events.
